Brecon Beacons Elidir Trail | Visit Wales

So today me and Kane travelled to the Brecon Beacon national park to do some hiking. We first went to Pont Melin-Fach to complete the Elidir trail. This trail goes along the river and passes four main waterfalls and the continues on to the Lady falls. It can be a 5-6hr walk both ways but we decided to hike from the car park to the forth waterfall and then return. It's a huge walk to the Lady falls so we decided to conserve energy and visit the snowy mountains.

I couldn't help but share it with you guys. I am trying to add some more diversity to my blog so let me know what you think in the comments!!

In the second to last image you can see the area we had to climb through to reach the path. We decided to walk across the water and take a different route back which resulted in a no go zone. Lets just say we got stuck in sinking mud and climbed our arses off!!

The waterfall trail was so amazing and it felt refreshing to be out in the countryside for once.
We also visited Pen Y Fan in the Welsh mountains. We only popped by for a minor climb in the snow. It was just too cold and we were shattered by that stage. It's crazy how these two places were only a 30 minute drive apart but were so different.

I had such an amazing day and can't wait to do another trail soon!!
