New Years OOTD featuring Missguided and Topshop

I finally shot a load of new outfits!! Phew now my blog won't be full of personal post only. I thought I should really post a new years eve inspired outfit. I've bought a few bits in the boxing day sales but the chances of them turning up in time are slim to I rummaged through my wardrobe and put this together.

Merry Christmas!!

I wanted to make a quick post just to wish you all a fabulous day for tomorrow!! I haven't blogged this week because I'm too busy as I bet you all are too. I hope you have a lovely day and get to spend it with your favourite people!!

Thankyou for supporting me through this past year, my blog has developed so quickly and I've had some amazing opportunities. I'm loving every minute and appreciate every single reader and follower. Can't wait to see what 2015 will bring. I'll be back, blogging some new outfits and such next week!!

Have a wonderful week and I'll introduce you lovely lot to my new fur babies in the new year!!

OOTD featuring H&M and New Look

It's party season!! Most of us have Christmas work events or plans for new years and glitter is the way to go!! I purchased this gorgeous sequinned dress on a whim but of course it has come in handy over this festive season. Glitter, sequins and all things sparkly are a wardrobe must have.

Christmas wishlist

Top (Left to right)
1) In real life- Nev Schulman (£11.99)2) Nail stamping tool set (£3.08)3) Nail stamping boards (£2.99) 4) Rio ultimate nail art set (£29.99)
Bottom (Left to right)
1) Foxy locks hair extension hanger (£12.75)2) Lime crime venus palette ($42)3) Lee Stafford curling wand (£16.99)4) Tarte lights, camera, lashes mascara ($20) 5) Girl online - Zoe Sugg (£5)

It's the festive season and Christmas is slowly commencing, so I thought it's about time to post my wishlist. This is mainly gifts I've asked for and bits I aim to purchase. I of course have a few nail bits and bobs cropping up and luckily I have been able to purchase a bunch of stamping plates and tools recently. It's so strange starting something new but I won't ramble on. I will make a post in the next few weeks, (Promise) but I want more designs to show everyone first!! I also added a few books from some familiar faces. I've stopped reading but I think these will kick start that passion. Now I have short hair I want to add a few quick and easy styles to my routine so I am in need of a good curling wand and this has great reviews. Once I finally work out how to blend my freshly dyed hair extensions I think it's only fair to store them correctly. Especially if I decide to splash out on an expensive set in the future. I've added a few beauty bits since I'm an addict but both have been reviewed many times and seem promising.

I really wanted to take part in Blogmas this year but owning my store means I am swamped so I don't think I'll have time. I'll be posting as much as I can. I'm super happy two of my favourite bloggers; MoshingZombies and VogueMondays are taking part so I have good reads this month.

I'm starting to get super excited and can't wait to get shopping for my love ones very soon!! Hope you are all excited too!!

Flashmob Cosmetics Review

I was sent these lovely hair chalks by Flashmob cosmetics which stock at Argos for us UK bloggers. I finally found time to test them so here's my review!!

Cardiff Haul No.3

(All links below)

Oops another haul!! I'll make this short and sweet. My lovely friend Caity came to visit for a few days so of course we took a day out to go shopping in Cardiff. It was a real miserable day so we stuck inside the major shopping centres. I only grabbed a few little bits as I'm saving for a new nail course.

OOTD featuring NaaNaa Clothing and New Look

I was fortunate enough to work with the lovely ladies at NaaNaa clothing once again. They sent me this beautiful jumpsuit. I've fallen in love with this outfit. I've never been one for jumpsuits as my proportions are ridiculous but after this piece I think jumpsuits will be a regular occurrence in my wardrobe.

Black Tied Review

Necklace: Evil eye (£16)
Bangle: Custom (£12)

I've been following Black tied on instagram for a while now and I adore all their pieces. It's hard these days to stand out from the crowd when you own an independent jewellery store. But when I find a unique store I can't resist. I was luckily enough to receive a blogger discount so I decided to finally treat myself to a custom name bracelet. I also have a cheeky code for all you guys too so keep reading!! My photos really don't do these products justice but I prefer to take my own and avoid using the store photos, but make sure to check out their shop images too.

Birthday Haul and Alton Towers

Lush bath bomb: Star light, star bright (£3.50)

I decided to blog about my birthday a little so this is a combination of bits I treated myself to, a few birthday presents and my trip to Alton Towers. Lots of pictures for you lovely lot and I'll try not to bore you too much!! I really didn't purchase too much this year as I had Alton Towers planned and we all know how expensive Merlin likes to make their resorts.

OOTD featuring NaaNaa Clothing and Elsie Grace

Last week I received a wonderful parcel from the ladies at NaaNaa clothing. I couldn't wait to show you lovely lot the beautiful pieces I received. This playsuit has just been released on their website so I suggest you all go and purchase one before they sell out.

OOTD featuring Topshop and Euphoria Creations

I thought it was about time, I showed you guys these beautiful velvet tartan trousers. I couldn't resist them and luckily at the time I had a student loan so the price didn't seem so daunting. Moving on I did purchase them a while ago but everyone needs a great pair of patterned trousers in their wardrobe.

OOTD featuring Primark and Asos

During October, I always bring this beautiful jumper out of my wardrobe. Halloween is approaching so bat print feels very fitting. I love the vampy feel to the outfit and how oversized each item looks. Just like my sugar skull jumper featured previously, I purchased this jumper over a year ago. But during this time of the year shops bring out all their Halloween themed clothing and during sales you can always grab yourself a wardrobe staple.

Cardiff Haul No.2

(All links below)

So me and Kane decided to make use of his day off and pop to Cardiff for a mini shop. I really wanted to visit Primark and get my hands on fluffy bits so it was perfect for me. Cardiff have a huge Primark compared to Swansea so I was able to find everything I had my eye on. Unfortunately the day involved lots of rain so I wasn't up for shopping around too much and mainly stuck to stores indoors.

OOTD featuring Topshop and Jeffrey Campbell

Now winter is approaching I decided to dig out all my jumpers and found this amazing sugar skull item. I had to style it because it's just so beautiful and versatile. It's an old buy but with the colder weather approaching I'm sure Topshop will be bringing out many printed jumpers to choose from.

OOTD featuring Topshop and RockonRuby

Now Autumn is here, I've fallen back in love with my mom jeans and thankfully the weather permits them without over heating. Even though the winter weather is approaching luckily its still warm enough to wear crop tops. I'm making full use of this cool weather before I'm absolutely freezing and living in fluffy jumpers till summer is back.

Maybelline Baby-skin Instant Fatigue Blur Review

If you've seen my daily make-up post (which I really need to update!!) you would have notice I was using Rimmel fix and protect primer. I'm always looking and testing primers to find the perfect match for my skin. The Rimmel primer worked really well and was a white based colour so blended with all skin tones. This primer comes in two colours; cool rose and apricot to match the undertone colour of your skin. As I have quite red skin in certain areas I decided to go for the cool rose option.

OOTD featuring River Island and Missguided

This post comes a bit later than my usual posting time but I've just finished shooting a bunch of new outfits. I do apologise for the up and coming moody faces. My face is clearly having one of those days. Moving on this was one of those quick outfits I put together today and I'm loving how it turned out. Moving into winter I'm slowly returning to my monochrome style. I think it always looks great with colourful hair.

OOTD featuring Boohoo and La moda

I thought it was about time to incorporate three of my favourite pieces into an outfit. I love how they all are blend together to give a more grungy look.

AW14 Blanket Cape Trend

1) Red tartan (£83)2) Monochrome (£24.99)3) Green tartan (£19.99) 4) Contrast cape (£75) 5) Monochrome checked (£24.99) 6) Aztec (£18)

Blanket capes are bang on trend right now, so I thought I'd compile a few of my favourites I've found. So many bloggers are posting about them and if you went to/watched London fashion week I'm sure you saw them crop up quite a lot. I'm loving the monochrome trend as you can tell from my selection but I found quite a few colourful capes as well. They are actually super easy to style and wear. They can look a bit fiddly but they either have a clasps at the top or you can wrap a belt round the centre to create a simple outfit. There are also a few capes with built in sleeves like number 2 which make it even easier to style them. I think they are a great transition from kimonos and will be sticking around for a while. New Look have a large selection right now so it's worth popping in and trying on a few styles and picking which you think suits you best. I've already purchased number 5 and hopefully will purchase a tartan cape later on just to add a bit of colour to my outfits.

I'll posting an outfit featuring my cape very soon. I'm sure blanket capes won't be everyone's cup of tea but I love them. Will you be picking one up for the winter chills?

Raccoon-God Review

My lovely friend Rachael sent me this case as a moving in present. You may of heard of Raccoon-God on tumblr or her many stores. Rachael is a dear friend to me so it was a lovely surprise to receive one of her items. I decided to do a review because I fell in love with the case as soon as it arrived and I needed to share the quality with  you guys.

OOTD featuring Fractured Folk and Topshop

Firstly I'd like to apologise for my lack of blogging. I've been super busy recently and I'm trying to get on top of my shop right now. I've got a few blog posts planned but no time to write them. I thought I'd blog this summer outfit while the weather is still perky. I was intending to make a day to night post with this style but alas too many out-takes of the night outfit (always the way!!).

Cardiff Haul

Basket: Tiger (£4)

I am finally able to make a haul post. Since starting this blog I've rarely done a huge shop so I haven't been able to make many. However since I moved in with Kane I decided to go on a little spree with Teri. I didn't realise how much I'd collected till I had to carry it home (oops). Ah well, we all deserve to treat ourselves once in a while.

OOTD featuring New Look and River Island

I love to wear simple outfits during the day and night. Comfort is key in my book and black is always a go to colour when I'm feeling lazy. This outfit came from a night in the pub (minus heels) with friends and I really love how it turned out. I didn't realise how much New Look I was wearing till I summed it up but as you can tell I do love a good shopping spree in their store.

Benefit's they're real push up liner || Review

If you follow me on instagram you know I've slowly began introducing eye-liner back into my make-up routine. This meant I was in need of a quick and simple product. I'm a fan of gel liners as they are super smooth to apply but usually come in pots with brushes. I'm not the best with make-up so I really wanted a pen style eyeliner just to make life easier for myself. Everyone has been raving about benefit products and they've just realised their eye-liner so why not treat myself and give it a go?

OOTD featuring River Island and Primark

Back to a casual outfit for this post. I'm super lazy when it comes to choosing outfits for the day time, which explains why my blog has been spammed with more evening wear (sorry!). I previously mentioned in my July favourites that midi/maxi dresses were my go to items and this is one of my favourites. It's super simple and easy to style for all occasions.

OOTD featuring Topshop and New Look

Since I bought my tennis skirt I've fallen in love with it. I thought I'd style it up for a night on the town first and love how it turned out. I'm glad I purchased it in white and it goes well with black accessories and creates great monochrome looks.

September/October wishlist

September wishlist

1)Black ankle boots (£28)
It's that season again and even though I own a bunch of black boots, they are all quite high heeled, so I really want some smaller boots. These look perfect, the heel is only four inches so I assume they will be super comfortable.

2)Silver backpack (£19.99)
I am still loving the holographic trend and I think this bag is perfect. I am dying to treat myself when I have available funds so this will be my next purchase for sure. I think it'd pull together soo many outfits and it'll be handy for travelling back and forth on day trips.

Since I'm moving and I know I won't have too much storage space I really want some small items to hang my necklaces on. I found these cute pieces on amazon, so if I can't find any in my favourite home-ware store I'm sure these will work fine.

4)Daily chalk board (£40)
I saw this chalk board on Zoella's home-ware haul and just couldn't resist it. I am super organised and love making plans and notes so I think this would be a quirky way of doing so. It's a bit pricey but I might treat myself with my birthday money.

5)Mesh shift dress (£11.49)
You guys know how much I love mesh and I think the mesh panelling on this shift dress give it a really nice look. It's in the sale right now so hopefully I can give myself a treat when I get paid. I really need some basics for my wardrobe now the season's changing and think this would be a great staple.

6)Monochrome duster coat (£24.99)
It's time to go coat shopping and I'm always super picky with my coats. I really want a monochrome or plain jacket this time round. I still have my fur jacket and my blue boyfriend jacket so I'm hoping to get a duster coat to add to my collection. I'm going to Primark soon as they have such a lovely range.

I purchased the eyeliner from this collection recently and am loving it. I will be reviewing it later on this month for you guys. Since the eyeliner works so well I thought I might try the mascara too.

8)Faux septum ring (£12)
I'm too much of a wimp to get my septum pierced and I'm not one for facial piercing these days but I think Lamoda's range of faux jewellery are wonderful. But pricey for me but I may have the chance to treat myself at some point.

9)Monochrome bag (£29.99)
I love monochrome items right now and I really want to add a bag to my collection. I currently have a bunch of clutches but wanted something larger for everyday use. I think this would be great for shopping or a evening out.

This wishlist is bigger than usual but since I'm moving I'm looking for both home-ware and clothing. I thought I'd make it both my September and October wishlist as I know I'm going to be poorer than usual with my move.

OTTD featuring River Island and New Look

I've been in Wales for the past week, hence my lack of blogging. But I'm back and I have a bunch of new outfit posts for you lovely lot. I'm sticking with outfits for the warmer weather for now and apparently we have a heat wave on the way so why not? I thought I'd start off with my favourite outfit, which I wore for a lovely date with my other half on Sunday.

Tresemme Keratin Smooth Review

Tresemme keratin smooth serum: £6.99 (Boots)

I thought I'd make a quick review on one of my favourite hair products. I am forever getting questions about my hair and I currently use La riche directions hair dye in shade rose red. Because I have slowly damaged my hair over the years, my hair gets super frizzy with lots of fly-aways. I've been trying to find a good product but have found products like frizz-ease to be absolute rubbish. Anyway I saw this product advertised on the TV and thought why not? I'm so happy I decided to try it because it actually works and has been a life saver.

My Clockwork Castle Review

So I recently purchased these two beautiful necklaces from an independent store like my own. I having been eyeing up Kirsty's pieces after finding her shop on instagram. Her work is super original, and I haven't come across a similar shop creating pieces like those found on her store. I find many jewellery stores do have a similar range these days so it's nice to come across a unique shop. As you can tell by my necklace and the store name Kirsty creates many pieces using clock parts, as well as making varied handmade jewellery.

OOTD featuring Nasty Gal

I purchased this lovely dress from Nicole at Vogue Mondays (link) and it couldn't be more perfect. Nicole is one of my favourite fashion bloggers and her style is impeccable so I follow her on depop to grab some bargains. Every girl needs a little black dress, and this has a stand out design. It's super simple to style so I threw on my cute pink heels and my go to clutch to add a pop of colour.

Maybelline Colour Show Review

Maybelline colour show top coat - Boots (£3.99)

So I previously featured this nail design in my shellac post but I wanted to make a separate review. The nail art shown is super easy to create with Maybelline's new colour show range. The shade used is the street artist top coat in alley attitude, however they have a range of colours and top coats available. I really loved this design and kept topping up my shellac for weeks.

The top coat consist of the blue and black shards so I thought I'd add the other products used. I topped up my shellac with Rimmel's nail polish (198 Azure) which was luckily a perfect match. Then I just added one coat of my colour show and finished off with Collection clear varnish. I love nail art and I'm always looking for quick and simple designs. I am a total novice when it comes to nail art so I usually get them done at a salon, so I'm super happy to have found Maybelline's new range.

The varnish itself lasts ages, the shards stayed put rather well but I would recommend adding a top coat just in case. The only problem I had with the top coat was removing it. It was a task to get all the shards off and it needs a good buffer alongside nail varnish remover to get them to budge. Other than the removal I had no problems with the varnish and would highly recommend it.

Once my nails regain strength and I can stop using shellac 24/7 I'm going to stock up on a bunch of Maybelline's top coats. It's going to end up as obsession I bet. All you nail fanatics reading should definitely add this product to your collection soon.

OOTD featuring Motel Rocks

I couldn't help purchasing a few pieces from the Motel Rocks sale last month including this dress. It's really simple to style and I love the reverse water fall print. The dress can be easily styled with black or white accessories but of course I went for white again. My wardrobe is being over-run with white recently. Considering I owned zero white items a few months ago its a huge change.

July favourites

july favourites

If you follow me on instagram you most likely would have seen me asking what posts you want to see more of on my blog. I've made a note all the responses and a few people were keen on a favourites post. This is my first month's favourites and hopefully I'll make it a regular occurrence like my wishlist posts (nearly bought all of July's items eek). It was surprisingly hard to narrow it down this month so it's pretty hefty.

1) Maxi dresses
I recently purchased a couple of maxi dresses and I've been living in my grey t-shirt maxi from H&M. I've never been keen on maxi dresses because I'm really short but H&M do really great lengths. Mine cost £7 and is the most comfortable piece of clothing I own, I just wish they did a better range of colours. I love how easy maxi dresses are to style with a simple statement necklace.

2) Ripped skinny jeans
I am loving the new white trend and I adore my new skinnies. I've never been one to wear white but recently it's taking over my wardrobe starting with these beauties. I love how simple they are and the rips give them a slight edge. Mine are leigh jeans from Topshop so were about £32. I wore them all the time because the heat became overwhelming.

3) Watermelon clutch

You guys know how much I love this fruity trend and my obsession with pineapple and watermelon print so of course my clutch is included. It's super simple to style and is great for a night out. You're all probably sick of seeing it but it's from New look (£9.99) and they do a range of fruity slices.

4)No.7 moisture drench (mulberry)
We all know I'm a Mac girl but I also love No.7. This was a freebie I got when I spent over a certain amount in boots and it's fab. It really hydrates your lips and it's such a subtle colour for the summer. I'm being so lazy with make-up recently so this shade gives my lips a hint of colour.

5) Anna Sui- sui dreams
I've used this perfume for years and it will always be included in my collection. It has a really fresh scent and it such a light fragrance to wear. I think it's really lovely to wear in this hot weather because it's so subtle. Unlike most perfumes it isn't too expensive either.

6)Maybelline super stay nail polish (berry stain)
Since I've stopped having acrylics I've started adding to my nail collection again. I really love this colour and there should be a picture on my instagram. The colour doesn't chip easily either which is fab if you're constantly using your hands.

7)Sally Hensen - miracle nail thickener
I plan to make a review on this item but I had to add it to my favourites. It has saved my nails since I've had my acrylics removed and now they are back to health. It's slightly pricey (£9.99) but worth every penny.

8) Floral kimono
I am slowly falling in love with the kimono trend. I really need to purchase more because I am constantly wearing my floral purchase from New look. I mainly style it with monochrome outfits to give the dash of colour or with an all white outfit.

If any of these are in your favourites too, please comment below so I can check out your posts. If you have any feedback of posts you particularly want to see feel free to let me know.

My pink/red hair tales

Okay I thought I'd do a blog post on my hair because I always get such lovely compliments (I really appreciate all your kind words) and a lot of questions regarding it. I also put pink/red because my hair is currently in my mind pink, but people like Kane still class it as red. Plus during the process of reaching my this colour I was red quite a bit. The process to get to my current hair has not been smooth at all; so this is kind of a do and don't post. Before I start I want to make a little disclaimer; I am not trained in hairdressing and this is just my process and things I found good and bad (please don't blame me if it doesn't work for you).

Well I am now pink and loving it so much. It's my favourite colour and I never get bored of it. I went from dark brown to pink this year so it hasn't taken me too long. If you follow me on either instagram or tumblr you'll have noticed the gazillion colours I've encountered. Oops. Sorry for the selfie spam below eek.

OOTD featuring New Look and H&M

I adore this outfit as it's super comfy and easy to throw together in the summer weather. I've gone back to basics recently as I'm slowly becoming lazy with my outfits. I ended up wearing different variations of this outfit in Wales because it was so simple. I think as summer nears we all end up bunging on our basics to make life easier for ourselves. Since we're all melting in the sun who can blame us for wearing comfy pieces.

Southampton Haul

So I finally moved out of my uni house and left uni all together today. It feels like a weight has been lifted. Me and mum had to travel to Southampton to finalise things and we thought why not treat ourselves (me treat us more like). I have been working everyday for months so I think its all justified (maybe got a little more than I should oops). Anyway more details below.

OOTD featuring Topshop and Elsie Grace

Jumper: Tesco Dress: Topshop Jewellery: See below

I loved my outfit today, such a summer and winter combination. I dug out my old fruity body-con dress from last summer and decided to try something different by adding a crop jumper. I adore the combination as it's great for this weather while it's changing constantly. Can you tell I'm slowly becoming obsessed with fruity print? I love pineapple and watermelon print and even picked up a cute bag like it today.

*Smokey quartz necklace*: Euphoria Creations
Amethyst necklace: Elsie Grace

I adore both these shops, they both hand make the most beautiful creations. There's a full review on Euphoria creations on my blog already but I really need to put a post about Elsie Grace as the shop owners are the most wonderful girls I've ever worked with and I adore all their pieces. Need to gather up all my purchases for a post later on in the month.

OOTD featuring Topshop & Blue Moon

 Top: Topshop (Similar)
Jeans: Topshop mom jeans (Similar)
Converse: Vintage fair
Choker: No longer available

I apologise for the mirror images but I'm soo busy with work right now so I haven't had too much time to spare on blogging. I had a lot of interest in today's outfit so decided to throw together some images I took throughout the day. It's a super simple outfit but the weather is so unsure at the moment, I didn't want to freeze or over heat. I absolutely love my mom jeans and think I'll be wearing them more often as it warms up. I picked  these plain converse up from the Southampton vintage fair which I need to visit again. I layered my simple outfit with jewellery to give some details. I adore both Bluemoonbtq and Elsie Grace pieces and I will do a review post on both at some point.

Welsh Haul

I recently went to stay with my boyfriend in Wales and had a fabulous time. On a couple of days I picked up some goodies so I thought I'd make a haul post incorporating all the items. If you would like me to make a personal post on my adventures please comment and I shall later in the week. I've been spoiled rotten this week so click read more to see all the items.

Lime Crime Review

Lime crime - Poison Berry (Similiar)

The other day this beauty arrived in the post and I'm super happy. I've wanted to purchase a Lime Crime lipstick for months and when I found this colour it had to be mine. I purchased mine from amazon linked above but you can find it on a number of sites. I decided to use amazon because I had this on my wishlist and it seemed a decent price (£20ish) but you can get them from Lime Crime's website (here) for $18 (unsure about postage costs). I am so over the moon with this lipstick so I decided to make a review post. I know a few of my instagram followers wanted to know more too.

OOTD featuring Zara

I finally got my hands on the "stressed but well dressed clutch" which pretty much sums up me. I thought I'd include it in one of my simple outfit posts. The clutch is back in stock on the Zara website so I included the link but you can also find it on ebay if it sells out again.

Bottlecap Baubles Review

I was gifted this lovely necklace from Sydney Blair who owns Bottlecap baubles on etsy (link). As a shop owner myself I can understand how difficult it is to get your name out there and bring in a steady flow of customers. I am glad I have the opportunity to help Sydney as I love her work. It's rare you see an original shop idea and I haven't seen many shops selling items like hers. I love this necklace and it is super simple but also complex at the same time.

OOTD featuring H&M

As promised here's my outfit post from my Southampton trip. It's a pretty simple outfit but as the weather hasn't quite decided what it's doing recently I can never tell how many layers I'll need. I recently purchased this maxi skirt in the H&M sale and it's so different to my usual style. It's full length and is see through passed the mini skirt below which I think looks fab. I can wear it for a simple day outfit but also for an evening meal or a night out. I layered it with simple jewellery and plain black boots from New look. I wore my cute leaf necklace from Blue moon boutique and my pvc heart choker from Necro leather.

Day To Night || Outfit

I recently purchased this amazing dress from Zara. I've seen a few of my favourite bloggers featuring this dress so I searched this site and finally was able to buy it myself. I am super happy, its very me. I love the oversized style and the 60s vibe. The eye print makes it stand out from the average dress. I decided to create a day vs. night outfit post to show how versatile the dress is and do something new. It's my first go at this type of post so if you want to see more please let me know.

Shoe Hoarder || Review

Recently I've been selling some unwanted shoes on my Depop (l0stkeys) and my tumblr so I was able to purchase shoes I've had my eye on for a while. As you can see I like quite quirky shoes so these are totally different styles. I thought I'd make a quick post about each and give them a mini review.

Melt Cosmetics Review

I was gifted this awesome Lipstick from my wishlist. I've heard some good reviews about Melt cosmetics as they do matte lipsticks in a range of unusual colours. This colour is so awesome and for the price tag I didn't want to get any normal colour I could purchase from my local drug store.
