Goodbye Resolutions, Hello Life Goals || Lifestyle

Christmas is mainly over now for the most of us. Luckily for me I have a second celebration on the bank holiday to celebrate with my partner. I hope it was relaxing for everyone & you all got to spend quality time with those you love. To me it's about the day itself rather than the gifts you get. I love a good present but that's not what Christmas is about!! I had my first English Christmas celebration for two years so it was nice to spend the day with my family. Plus I had a full day off; rather lovely after working eleven hour days in the run up. I hope all my fellow retail beauties are recovered & still alive after that mad rush.

Jurassic Park Date Night || Lifestyle

I can happily say that I went on one of the cutest date nights this month. Jacob & I visited the Natural history museum in London for a late night viewing of Jurassic park. I honestly adored this event & even though it was a one off I wanted to share it with you guys. I am definitely keeping an eye out for these kind of events on the time out website from now on!!

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland || Lifestyle

This year I'm very happy to say I got to visit the Hyde park winter wonderland. I've never really had the opportunity to visit before but this year me & Jacob decided to book a few bits and take a day out to enjoy the festivities. It definitely made me feel ready for Christmas!!

Lush Haul || Lifestyle

The one big plus of moving home is I have a bath again so I can splurge every once in a while on Lush goodies. I adore their collections purely because I'm one of those people allergic to a list of things & lets just say flare ups aren't a risk I'm willing to take. Luckily their products are also divine so there's no reason not to spoil myself now & again.

The Inconvenience Of Delivery Mishaps || Lifestyle

I'm not usually one to make a negative post but recent events have occurred which I think the majority of us can relate to. No one likes having delivery mishaps; may that be the sender or the receiver of the item & as I've been on both sides I thought why not share my experiences. This post as stated has been inspired by a recent event in which a delivery was completely messed up by a company. I had an event to go to, which of course it the worse time for these things to happen but usually when they do.

Winter Wishlist

(L-R: Body, Brush set, Bracelet, Jeffree, Shirt dress, Cacti & Cami dress)

It's been forever since I've made a wishlist post but my shopping interest has finally spiked, so here's some goodies for you. I literally been so focused on everything but adding to my wardrobe & other collections but since Christmas is approaching here's a few things I've had my eye on. I hope the bodice returns in my size because it is adorable. I also think beauty buys are great presents; I for one can't get enough of Jeffree Star's collection & I'll have to update you guys in the new year. I also found a few cute piece from In the Style. There range is so good & I always see so many things I want. Plus of course I had to add a bit of home-ware!! I am officially obsessed.

I hope you guys are enjoying the festive season so far & please comment your wishlists so I can have a gander too!!

Harry Potter Tourist Day || Lifestyle

Earlier this year I travelled into London with a friend to have an awesome Harry Potter "tourist" day. We visited two spots; House of Minalima & the studio tour in Watford. It was a fabulous day so I thought I'd share some pictures & recommend the venues.

OOTD || Hamsa Heaven

Throw-back to a cute outfit I liked. Look at that grey hair; feels like years ago!! Anyhow I'm growing out my pixie into a cute bob so it's kind of a mess now. We all know how much I love a monochrome look so I thought it's about time I shared this we you.

Tree Top Camping || Lifestyle

I had the best birthday week this month; so I wanted to show a part of that to you lovely lot. I was treated to a trip away to Wales to stay in this beautiful tree top tent. Plus I haven't been able to do a visit Wales post in forever & this is definitely a place you need to visit. There's a few images of the "campsite" & the days out so I'll stop rabbiting on!!

Re-branding & Looking Forward To The Future || Lifestyle

It's five to eight, I've got a cuppa & a doughnut in hand & I'm feeling positive. No I'm not having a psychotic break; I promise!! I'm just actually feeling in a really good place for the first time in a while. As you probably noticed (if they is any of you left) I've had a bit of a change around, not much but I wanted to sort out my blog once & for all so I could get back to blogging. My blogs not very different but I've sorted out a new name & URL.

Dealing With Negative People || Lifestyle

I've never attempted to make this post; even though I know more than most what it's like dealing with negative interfering people on a daily basis. I've spent years online dealing with trolls, they've commented on my looks, my weight, my relationship & so much more. I've also dealt with broken friendships that have turned from nice to ugly in a short space of time. The worst of it all is dealing with people who were never quite in your life, they may have mutually known people or had similar experiences but they constantly feel the need to comment on your life. It's an odd occurrence because to most it makes no sense, you can understand animosity & judgement to a certain point but it comes to a stage where it starts to become unnecessary.

Major Changes & Moving On || Lifestyle

This is an odd post to write; its odd because my previous posts on my social media don't really portray this new change. It's odd because I don't quite know how to explain myself fluidly. I guess I'm just going to have jump into it and be as clear as I can. Maybe grab a cuppa and some biscuits beforehand!!

Holiday Lookbook || New Look & Unif

Holidays are all about comfort, even if that means clashing patterns like crazy!! These shorts are honestly the most comfortable holiday item I've ever purchased and since they're on sale why not have a cheeky look.

Holiday Lookbook || Primark & H&M

Final few holiday look-books months late are commencing this week!! I'm completely rubbish with my timing so there are of course a lack of links but hey ho!! I loved this outfit on holiday, so lightweight yet not completely revealing.

Holiday Lookbook || Primark & New Look

We have wifi!! Finally; turns out living without wifi in an area with rubbish 4G is the bane of my life. Any how because these posts are a month late you're going to be to spammed with my holiday look-book posts. I wore the most simplest outfits in Turkey because when you're that hot you just want to bung on the nearest pair of shorts & a crop.

Where Have I been?? || Lifestyle

Oh look I've taken yet another break from blogging; even though I have good reason I always feel bad for letting it slip out of my routine. So where have I actually been? Well unfortunately I haven't been in Turkey, but I have been working my butt off & altering my routine. I'm finally qualified & finished college for the time being. I'm slowly trying to work out if I'll be back in college for my level 3 or slowly in the salon which I now work with. I'm also moving!! Yes; Kane & I are finally flying the nest & we have found the cutest apartment to start our new chapter. It's all very exciting & of course busy but I've got my holiday posts lined up to go and I've planned a new shoot when I've got a sec. I'll most likely be moving on from solely outfits to more lifestyle posts. I can't wait to have a free day to write up a few posts for you lot. As for now I'm going to love you and leave you!! I'll hopefully be back in a week or two!!

Hair Extensions Course

I recently completed a micro ring extensions course with a private educator local to me & thought I should share my experience. I took a one day course with a specialist salon who have their own training provider (linked below). I was very excited to add a new skill to my career path & now I've done a few clients I wanted to share some snaps.

Surgery Decisions & Options || Lifestyle

This is a big post for me & I wasn't sure if I was completely ready to discuss this with my readers but from past experience I found it so therapeutic to express myself in words. I've been posting a little on my social media quite recently about taking some new steps for myself & I thought I'd discuss what's going on with you guys.

Holiday Lookbook || InTheStyle & Boux Avenue

I thought I'd start my holiday look-book with my favourite outfit. I've been dying to share this dress with you since I got it, but I wanted to save it so I could get shots like this. Hope you like my first proper outdoor shot (lets just say Kane wasn't as happy to snap me!! Holla at my insta-husband)

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Review

(Links below)

I recently treated myself to these luxury liquid lipsticks for the Jeffree Star collection. He was having a release of a few new shades and of course as the was a purple/grey colour I couldn't resist. You've probably seen a gazillion amazing reviews on this collection but my love for my new products just couldn't justify not sharing with you guys!!

Casetify Review

I finally upgraded my 5s, after it had pretty much been beaten to death. I paid through the teeth to upgrade early but I got my hands on a 6s and I'm amazed at the quality. It was easier to do this review shoot using my phone then my camera, which was not for the life of it picking up the natural light. Any how I thought I should review my new case, as I decided to purchase from casetify for the first time.

Mac Beauty Haul

For valentine's day I was lucky enough to receive a cheeky Mac voucher from my other half. I know it's two months down the line but I wanted to show you guys my mini haul I did. I adore the products I picked up and I've linked them all below for you lovely lot to treat yourself too!!

OOTD || PVC Confidence

We all know I love a sassy outfit with a bit of PVC. I have to admit this skirt was definitely one of those purchases I greatly appreciate myself for making. It has lasted so well & I can keep creating new outfits. It may be short and a bit worrying at times but I can't throw it out!!

5 Things About My BPD || Lifestyle

1. Controlling my emotions are difficult; but that doesn't mean I'm completely out of control. I've adapted to my situation, I've never known anything different so I don't know how you experience daily life. I feel everything a lot stronger it seems and it can appear erratic & "crazy" but it's me & I wouldn't change that. Just because I can feel negative emotions strongly doesn't mean I wouldn't want to feel the happier emotions the way I do. I may swing from emotion to emotion quickly but I'm used to it and I can handle it in my own way. I won't let it be the defining aspect of my personality.

2. Stress is my main trigger; it can be my greatest downfall but I won't let it defeat me. I may not be able to handle stress in the same way as you but that doesn't make me a bad person. I may be flustered & seem to be acting silly but it's part of my illness and I won't allow you to judge me on that. I've been belittled before and I won't allow anyone to do so again. I'm learning to handle stress more and more each day but sometimes it will get to me.

3. Just because I want help doesn't always make it available; it can be extremely hard to get the correct help. I've been through soo many systems that have put me through hell, so even going back for help can be a big deal. It takes time to accept you want help and be at a place mentally when you can take on that help properly. But just because you go for help doesn't mean it can come quickly or when you seriously need it. Sometimes it can take weeks or months to get the specialised help. Luckily some GPs can be amazing and supportive enough to guide you while you wait but that's not always the case. Even when you get help sometimes the certain therapy you need may not be available in your immediate area or there could be further waiting times. Please be aware of this before judging our progress.

4. It can be very hard to maintain personal relationships; so I appreciate you more than you know. This is probably the biggest drawback of this disorder. I can deal with the stress, I can deal with the emotions but I don't want to destroy my relationships. I don't mean to make you feel like you are constantly looking after me or that I'm being crazy all the time. I just can't turn this off; I don't want to seem dismissive when you're trying to comfort me or seem distant randomly. I just want to be okay for the people closest to me. Sometimes that can be a lot of pressure to put myself under & having that pressure from others can be too much. I try my best to be the best me but the fact you love the person I am even with my drawbacks makes you the greatest person. Thank you for being there for me and keeping me sane even on my darkest days.

5. Having BPD doesn't make me a danger; not to myself & not to the world. Yes there are cases in which people who suffer from my disorder have done terrible things to themselves or others but that doesn't mean I am the same. People without disorder can commit terrible things too but being labelled as mentally unstable doesn't make me immoral. I don't intend to harm anybody or myself. I've have periods in which I've wished harm to myself but I am passed in & have learnt from that scary time in my life.

I would usually write and introduction to my posts but with this I just felt like I wanted to write and allow you guys to read the post as you wish. There's no need for read mores or lengthy descriptions; I just wrote how I felt. I rather enjoy writing these more personal posts and I hope they aren't annoying you too much. There's just times when these things should be spoken about.

OOTD || Gremlin Casual

It's finally Easter and for once I have time to invest more in my blog, I've been completely swamped with clients and orders so I haven't really had the energy to shoot and blog. But I'm back and will hopefully be able to post a lot more over this break. I'll draft up a bunch of post too so I'll potentially be back for good. For starts here's one of my favourite outfits. We all know I'm one for the androgynous look; I love being able to transform myself and this is such a good example.

The Laser Boutique Review

Recently I was sent this awesome handmade items by the laser boutique and I couldn't wait to share with you guys. They are all personalised and engraved by hand. You know how much I love supporting fellow small businesses so I'm excited to be collaborating with this brand!!

Lou Lou's Vintage Fair (Swansea) | Lifestyle

On Sunday I spent my morning at the lovely vintage fair located in Swansea. Lou Lou's vintage fair travels around the UK during the year allowing vintage stores & sellers to come together at an event. It's the second time I've been (previously went to the Southampton venue) and I love it. I really enjoy wandering around looking at the items & the clothes are always divine. In this event I took a few photos and got myself a few goodies pictured below!!

OOTN || Binky Prints

I have to admit made in Chelsea is a guilty pleasure and I love all their styles so when Binky created a range with In the style I couldn't resist taking a peak. I wasn't able to purchase any items from her first release but her second line really stood out to me and as I'm going on holiday they're a perfect fit!!

Borderline Personality Disorder || Q&A

Not so long ago I wrote a post regarding my BPD (borderline personality disorder) and it was the first time I've made a public declaration of my mental health. I've always kept it under wraps, but it was so refreshing to read your responses and know I've helped a small few. Since then I've been asked questions here and there so I wanted to make this mini Q&A. But before I start I want to express that I've come to terms with my disorder to a point where I'm comfortable with it. That doesn't mean to say I wouldn't take a cure if it was handed to me. On the other hand there are people who may be at the beginning stages of diagnosis or further along the lines that aren't as comfortable so please keep that in mind. I also want to say this post isn't here for you to self diagnose, I highly suggest seeking professional help when it comes to both physical and mental health issues. Please don't take my opinions/experiences as fact because everyone experiences things different and this is only my viewpoint.  I just wanted to answer a few questions to help people understand such an unknown mental health disorder.

Wella Professionals Xposure Competition || Lifestyle

As you lovely lot know I change my hair constantly, but I ended up keeping my brown highlighted mess for way too long. Any how if you've followed me on insta you've seen this year I've had 4/5 colours already and for once it's not my fault. Since September I've been growing my hair out for the Wella competition. Turns out my hair is shorter now than it ever has been, so growing it out was a huge waste as well as hella annoying. On the other hand we finally cut the style in, bleached the hell out of my hair (don't worry it's still healthy) and added the colours for the competition. Here's the final look from the shoot we did. Now we need to keep our fingers crossed and hope we get through to the next round. I'm sure my hair will handle another bleaching!!

Dreaming Of Summer Days || Lifestyle

I'm currently sat in my new pyjama shirt with a cup of coffee, a bar of chocolate & the mentalist on TV.  I'm not quite feeling at top health and I'm snowed under with work & college; but here I am giving my lovely followers a rather boring insight into my "blogger" lifestyle. We all know blogging isn't easy but sometimes that generic picture of a person sat in bed with a cuppa and their laptop on their lap is reality. How stereotypical of me!!

Venus Bundle Review

I know some of my readers may think I'm crazy for reviewing/advertising this brand but since they sorted out their website issues, I couldn't resist purchasing the venus palettes. We all know I was lusting over the grunge palette for a long while and when they brought out the second palette I was happy I waited. Before Christmas I decided to purchase the bundle which saves you a lot of the seperate prices. They took a while to get here and their were a few issues but I'll explain that later.

New Year, Same Me | Lifestyle

I know this is a little late into January, but as it's meant to the most depressing week of the year I'm feeling reflective. I've taken time out of my usual routine to relax, get back on track and to feel myself again. That is something I aim to do more of this year. I'm a complete stress head who takes on too much and wonders why I even more stressed. This post isn't a new years resolutions I'll never compete kind of thing, it's more of a reflection on what I need to do to be more sane this year.

Soap & Glory Skincare Review

Last week I was back in college having a bit of a flap and decided to take a mental health day. On my ride home I thought it might be a good idea to grab a few face remedies to cheer myself up. Turns out to be a great idea. I never used this brand much but after investing in their eyebrow products and reading reviews I thought why not. I picked up two products relevant to my face situation and they're working a treat!!
